Title: EMERGENCY MODE NO ARRAY INFO message on Terastation Pro - can anyone advise on what to do?!
Post by: Marla on June 25, 2010, 03:32:42 PM

The power to my Buffalo Terastation Pro was accidentally unplugged.

Product: Buffalo TeraStation Pro

Model: TS-H1.0TGL/R5-EU

I now can't access anything on it at all from the shortcut to it on my desktop - and its running an "emergency mode no array info message".

I've tried to find the model on www.buffalotech.com/support/downloads but can't seem to find it - as I was going to try & download up to date firmwar and run adapter.

can anyone out there help - any advice & suggestions much appreciated.  My entire business is on this thing! How can I get the data back?

Well its a bit stupid hanging your entire business on one device dont you think? Maybe you can learn a lesson from this and keep a backup!

Anyways, to resolve your issue download this file to a Windows PC (preferably windows xp)

http://www.buffalo-technology.com/support/getfile/?TS-HTGL_FW133.zip

Unzip the firmware, make sure you are using a LAN connection and not a wireless one (from the PC to your router/switch/hub)

Deactivate all anti virus and firewall software and run the TSUPdater.exe file => Update.
