Title: replacement of hardisk in terrastation ts-1.0 TGL/r5

hi,

 

i have a question that buffalo TS-1.0TGL/R5 is hot swapable?

like can i change faulty disk with new disk while tera is woking normal?

It is not hot swappable.

just have to power down, take out faulty hdd, unscrew it from cradle, put in new hdd, screw back onto cradle, connect sata/power cable, push back into Terastation and power it on. Goto web console and resync new hdd to raid array, that is if you are using raid 1,5 or 10.
