Title: All my NAS' Disappeared!!!!
Post by: geedub on June 17, 2010, 02:33:55 AM
I have several 2G linkstations on my network and ALL of them disappeared from the network on desktops and laptops. The linkstations are there when I type in their IPs and they are accessable to those laptops and desktops that have MAPPED drives but on every computer (windows7 and vista) all nas drives are gone from the network where you look for networked hardware. The media dlna are there and accessable. A new router was installed last month but that did not cause the problem after installation last monh everything worked fine for weeks. I' stumped as to what to do.

I beg to differ, the chances of several Linkstations failing at the same time are next to none.

Yes, Davo is correct. When you install a new router, not only will the ip address be diferent but even the subnet of the ip address maybe different for the entire network. Unmount all mapped drives and use the nas navigator to find the new ip address of the units and map the drives to those ip addresses.
