Title: Hard Disk problem on LinkStation
Post by: hezi on June 04, 2010, 03:34:33 AM

Hi,

I own Hs-dh1000gl.

I have a home network using router and a switch.

For some days, my Nas hard disk is not active. There is no error, and I see Lnk Indicator is on.

I have pushed the reset but still, I can not see any hard disk activity.

Please Help

Thanks Hezi

What information does the nas navigator report? Your unit might be in EM mode in which case you need to reinstall the firmware.

http://www.buffalo-technology.com/?select-your-region => Select your region => Support downloads => HS-DHGL Linkstation Live and download whatever is the latest version for your region.

Unzip, deactivate your AV and firewall, make sure your using a LAN connection (not wireless) and run the LSUpdater.exe file => Update.
