I've been trying to use the in-built Media Server on my Linkstation Mini LS-WSXL/R1 (everything is enabled in the Media Server setting on the Buffalo web admin) but I can't seem to get the Media Server to register on any of my DLNA/uPnp certified clients. The Twonky server on my Dell XPS laptop can be picked up on my PS3 when I scan for media servers, the twonky manager client also picks up the dell xps twonky server as does the Andromote mobile app so I don't think its a networking issue? Is there a useful utility to diagnose access problems with the Media Server? What underlying software is used for the Linkstation Media Server (I've read in various places that it is Twonky Server)? Can the Media Server be administered directly, or only via the Buffalo web admin?
Please note, the Linkstation Mini iTunes server seems to be working fine as I can see the Linkstation in iTunes on my Dell XPS laptop.
