Title: LinkStation LS-CHL HDD Spindown

Hi

 

I just got my 2TB Buffalo NAS, needed the space :-).

 

I've seen a setting called HDD Spindown, but I'm not able to find any information on using this in either of the manuals. It seems quite simple, but the HDD doesn't turn off !?

What is your experience?

it isnt enabled

and dont expect buffalo to ever enable it

 

earlier linkstation users have been waiting since 2006 for it
