Title: The Iscsi hard disk might not be registered on TS-RIX8.0TTL/R5
Post by: scedarst on June 09, 2010, 10:15:06 PM

I have installed the latest iscsi initiator from Microsoft.  According to the install instructions all check boxes need to be "unchecked"  When i do this the Buffalo tool says the MS initiator is not installed.  If i check the software initiator in MS and go back to buffalo tool it will then say "the iscsi initiator might not be registered" and nothing shows up.  What am I doing wrong?  Im running server 2003, the latest firmware, the latest buffalo iscsi tool, and latest MS tool.

Try uninstalling the Buffalo based tool, M$ initiator and the Buffalo tool may conflict at times.  So suggested to try removing the Buffalo tool first and just using the M$ initiator
