Title: BuffaloNAS Web Access
Post by: taox84 on June 08, 2010, 12:48:54 PM

Was there a change made to how we access our FTP through buffalonas.com?

Usually I will put in buffalonas/(myftpname) and it will take me right to it.

Now, it comes up with a 404 error.

If I just go to buffalonas.com and plug the name into the connect box, it will work fine.

Is this a permanent change?

Thanks

It is possible, we will need more information on what unit you have, the model number and current firmware version to give you a answer.  if you have a LS PRO with FW version 1.26 there were changes made.

LS-WTGL/R1-V3

Firmware: 3.10

It worked fine with the direct link yesterday, so I figure something had to be changed.

check on the internal settings of the unit, make sure they are still enabled.  If they are, verify  port 9000 on your router, otherwise the DNS settings

All settings have been confirmed and are set up properly.  Port 9000 is open.  I have to link to my external ip and port 9000 to send people a direct hotlink to my FTP.  I would prefer if it was the same as it was yesterday though, (buffalonas.com/myftpname)  It literally stopped working this morning.

Any other suggestions?
