Title: Problem with Buffalo HD-PE250U2 model made in Japan
Post by: claire_roadstar on June 03, 2010, 05:33:52 PM

Have been experiencing problems with my ministation. The blue light and white buffalo writing have been flickering when the USB cable was moved and was getting progressively worse. It was alsobeen beeping at me all the time and was not being recognized by any machine. I was told it might be the cable and took it to a computer shop. The guy at the counter gave me a replacement USB 2.0 A male to 5Pin mini B type cable and threw my old one away. Since returning home and connecting it up to my laptop it's now not working at all? No lights, no sound! Do I have the right USB cable? Could my problem lie with the driver itself? I bought it in Australia and it was manufactured in Japan. It only came with one small USB cable which fit tightly in place. The new one seems far too loose.

Any help much appreciated.:smileysad:

have you contacted your regions technical support about this?  It sounds like the connector on the unit may be defective.
