Title: LS-CH1.0TL - How to run FXP ?
Post by: IrishCoffee on May 28, 2010, 04:26:02 AM

Does anyone know, if the FXP (server-to-server) transfer should work ?

I tried several client settings in TotalCommander and FlashFXP but the result on my LS-CH1.0TL with F/W 1.24 is always the same:

Whilst attempting to move files between folders of the same share or between folders belonging to different shares of the NAS, the FXP client will time out with a general error message. It makes no difference if the files are small or large. Simply nothing is been moved.

There is comparably no problem with standard FTP transfers between client and NAS.

I must admit that FXP is something new to me, but still maybe there is a simple trick to gain success ?

The only way that will work is if both servers or file sharing partners support FXP.  Buffalo does not.

Thanks, appreciating your response.

Thought by mistake, that FXP was supported by Baffalo.
