Title: Forever formatting
Post by: jjbwoollyback on May 25, 2010, 09:34:21 AM

I have a linkstation pro duo (2x500Gbyte).  I recently decided to change the system from RAID 1 to RAID 0.  After making the change I set the system to format the "new" drive.  This format has now been running for a week.  When I log into the drive I can't select any options because the format is taking place.  I have tried resetting the system to no avail.  All I have is a green winking 'i' on the front panel.  Can anybody help

Have you tried to unplug the unit for at least 5 minutes to try to stop the process, also when posting please be a bit more specific with the details of your unit, examples include the firmware version, the revision, is it a V1 or a V3, these units have a slight difference in how to reset them, and any information presented to us helps us to further resolve your problem
