Title: applying firmware to new hard drive for HS-DHGL
Post by: g9916804 on May 17, 2010, 08:16:29 AM

Hi, I am having hard drive problems with product HS-DN500GL-EU (fault = 6 flashes - Hard Drive cannot be recognized.) After research I may have been a bit hasty by NTFS formatting all partitions on the hard drive.

can I reapply the FW after wiping the drive.

Hope you can help.

John.

This drive was never intended to have end user replaced them. That being said we do not have a firmware update to reflash a drive. After the drive has been formatted out side of the internal format feature of the web gui. Do a normal update my work ,but we can not make any guarantees.
