Title: power saving timer very obscur to use on Linkstation Duo
Post by: rvboutin on May 14, 2010, 07:44:23 AM

hi,

I wanted to set the timer for power saving, but I am getting confused on how the setting of the different time. I did try it with waking-up time being 5:30 and sleep time being 24:00 (so to me it meant midnight the following day...) but the NAS does not wake up! I want to do a trial with sleep time being 13:45 (1:45PM) today and waking up time being 14:30 (2:30PM) but I got a message that the sleeping time is earlier than the waking-up time! I don't get it honestly!! I find very confusing the fact of having days that can be 27h long... meaning that it will be 3h in the next day (so I guess 3AM? right?).

Anyway.... not practical at all!

I want to set the NAS to go asleep everyday at midnight and waking-up at 5:30AM... what are the correct setting then?

Thank you in advance for your help,

Rv
