Title: Bufallo TeraStation III question.Please help!

Hi, i'm from Malaysia

I plan to purchase Bufallo TeraStation III Rackmount version(which support NFS) to work with VMWare. But i have few question need to be clarify.

 

1. understand that HDD is hot swap type. can it be any type of SATA HDD?

 

2. If i purchase 2 unit of Terastation 4TB(4 x 1TB), can i replicate that 2 unit?

 

3. what is the pro and cons between 2 x 4TB & 1 x 8TB.

 

any help will be much appreciate.
