Title: User Management Password bug? LS-WTGL/R1-V3 F/W 3.10
Post by: jthompson on May 10, 2010, 01:49:10 PM

I have an LS-WTGL/R1-V3 F/W 3.10 and I have set up users with passwords and granted them read/write access to shared folders so they can access folders with password protection.

The only problem is that I set up the password, then try to access the folder through windows and the password does not work.  If I go back to the GUI, the password reads an extra 10-or-so characters that I did not put in there... Any idea  what these are or how to fix this issue?

Thanks in advance!

This always happens, no big deal.

You are probably already logged on as a guest on that particular computer.  Disconnect from all of the share folders and reboot the computer (to log yourself off as a user), then remap the folder in question and the password should now work.
