Title: Formating Firmwareupdate to 1.26 on Linkstation Liver LSCH1.0TL-EU
Post by: Latifa on May 08, 2010, 05:16:00 AM

Good Morning dear helpers,

I really have problems with my linkstation live LSCH1.0TL-EU with Bittorrent.

I bought it just five days ago and testet it with the preinstalled Firmware 1.24. After testing it i was formating the LS by clicking "format" on the Webgui.

AFTER THREE DAYS Formating the disk finished.

Than I wanted to update the Firmware to 1.26 this wasn't a big deal.....but afterwards the linkstation is on Code I21 (blinks orange:long, long, short) which means the linkstation does a disk check. For 14 hours now. This can't be normal. Is it broken, shall i turn it off? And what does happen if I turn it off by pushing the switch in off position while its doing a "disk check".

I am just a second ahead of bringing it back to the store i bought it. Is here anything I can do to speed the disk check up or to stop the check (it's just a check, isn't it ?)

Do you need more informations to give me hint ?

I beg you help me

Greetings from Germany

Latifa

It does not seem normal to be active for that long.  You can take it back to the store you purchased it at for a return/exchange, otherwise contacting your local technical support could offer you other means of assistance in solving the problem.
