Title: SMB signing problem
Post by: rf_pke on May 05, 2010, 03:20:20 PM

My lab purchased a TeraStation recently. After setting it up, the only way I could get any Windows PC to access its shares was to disable the "Microsoft network client: digitally sign communications (always)" setting under Local Security Policy -> Local Policy -> Security Options.  After some searching I found that this issue is related to SMB signing, referenced below:

Our security guideline requires SMB signing to be turned on.  Is there any way to enable it on the TeraStation?
