Title: Windows 2003 mount issue
Post by: barlie on May 01, 2010, 04:06:33 PM

I have scratched my head and spent a few days on this before giving up completely.

Here is the situation

1. we have a NAS TS-RIGL/R5 F/W 1.01 on the network

2. Nas has a single volume called "array1"

HDD Space Used RAID Array 1 2771 GB

2. Windows 2003 server. With iscsi and hard disk connect tool

3. The tool connects and registers the hard disk.

4. The tool shows that the volume is connected

5. However after this nothing shows up in the Windows logical disk manager.

How do I save files or mount the Nas from the windows machine??   While the above steps work, I cant add it as a disk in the Windows disk manager or map via \\nasserver\volume

Any ideas or clues are appreciated.
