Title: LinkStation Pro Duo firmware update from 3.09 to 3.10
Post by: duke on April 30, 2010, 10:14:49 PM

Hi,

I am planning to update the firmware of my LinkStation Pro Duo from 3.09 to 3.10. I wonder if the firmware update is a destructive operation which wipes out the configuration of my LinkStation Pro Duo?

Thanks advance.

Found it by myself... It doesn't affect the current configuration...

Be VERY careful with the 3.10 update.  I tried to install it over my 3.09 install the other day, but it errored at the very end after flashing the device.  Going through recovery lead me down a very bad path that has now bricked my device completely.  See this discussion.
