Title: Partitioning Buffalo LS-WXL LinkStation Duo NAS 4TB version
Post by: bwhite on April 26, 2010, 06:23:58 AM

Hi all,

I own the Buffalo LS-WXL LinkStation Duo 4TB NAS and has 2 x 2TB drives setup with RAID1 configuration (1 mirroring the other).  I want to partition one of the drives into 2 x 1TB and have the other 2TB drive mirror the complete drive.

Is it possible to attach this drive directly to my computer (via USB perhaps) and use a partitioning tool to do this?

If this is not viable can you please suggest a suitable alternative for this scenario.

Thanks very much.
