Title: Can't access folder shares on Terastation Pro II Rackmount 4Tb
Post by: Shaydes on April 18, 2010, 07:50:48 PM

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping that somebody can help me get onto these shares. This system has been working well for months, and then all of a sudden yesterday it is no longer accessible. When you navigate to the NAS it displays the shares available, but you cannot access any of them. It comes up with an access denied message.

What is more worrying is that when you login to the web console, it is no longer displaying the amount of data used in the volume. I know this system was close to capacity, but surely you should still be able to access it to remove old data!

Try to update the firmware on the unit first and then try to access the data.  Did you have permission's set on the unit?
