Hello all,
The other day I received about 20 of these emails.
DISK Error Notification
HDD error occurred
Disk(s) the error occurred:UnknownDisk(sde)
(sde) READ sector:6291776 count:1
Disk writing error
RAID drive error will be repaired automatically.
Continuous backup is recommended.
Followed by 10 of these:
DISK Error Notification
HDD error occurred
Disk(s) the error occurred:UnknownDisk(sde1)
This drive is faulty.
Everything appears to be working well. Am I correct in assuming the sde1 is the USB Harddrive attached? Everything looks okay and passes drive check in the web interface. Can someone tell me why I received these emails?
Thank you,
Tim
It looks like possible firmware corruption. Update the firmware and see if that clears out.

If I already have version 1.30, how do I update the firmware? Do I just reinstalll 1.30 or wait for an updated version?
I have not had another problem with the TeraStation since. Everything seems to be working fine.
Does disk sde refer to the USB drive attached?
Thank you,
Tim
