Title: My LS-CHL37F cannot find USB connected disk for backup
Post by: casper on April 11, 2010, 02:39:38 PM

I'm trying to configure backup of my LS-CHL37F using a 500Gb external disk. I have connected the disk to the LS using USB.

I have created a job under System->Backup->Backup Jobs Setup. When setting the Source and Destination, the destination will not show my external disk just some folder named LS-CHL37F@share.

I have tried to format it to XFS, FAT32 and EXT - but no luck.

You have to go to the USB share folder under folder options, select it, and select disk backup. It will then show as a destination.
