bhaumik,

To create logical partitions within your unit within Windows XP you will need a 3rd party program such as Partition Magic.  If you are using Vista or 7 you will be able to create partitions using the disk management utility which can easily be accessed by right clicking on computer than choosing manage select your disk than right click and choose resize and follow steps to create as many partitions as required.
