Title: Relaod terastaion 6000 after harddrive fail
Post by: rgolfer on June 06, 2024, 02:25:15 PM
Hi there. We purchased a new terastation 5010 after our older 6000 had some hard drive failures. It was working fine except for the hard drives. Our IT department wiped it clean and then sent it back here to HO, I have put new hared drives into it but does anyone know how to revive it? Re-install the base software? It is an older unit but with minimal use. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

It should go into Drive Setup Mode by default:

Thanks Texturtle,
We tried something similar but maybe missed a step. I will give this a try. Hoping it works!
