Title: Updated Firmware with US version instead of European version on LD420D
Post by: stavross on January 17, 2024, 07:59:37 AM
I have manually updated the firmware on my LS420D from version 1.83 to 1.88. Unfortunately I should have used the European firmware, but used the US firmare version by mistake.
Although the linkstation shows up in NAS Navigator, I cannot login to the Linkstation. When I type in the Linkstation ip address, I get the Buffalo Control Panel, with a window that constantly says 'Reading   please wait...'
I have tried to update to the European firmware version, but this gives me the message 'No Linkstation that needs updating found'.
Could you please let me know how I can now install the correct European firmware version.

:)Problem fixed, by downgrading to a previous version, then upgrading to the correct country version.
