Title: NAS Drive not showing up on Windows 10
Post by: EricGriffiths on November 21, 2023, 05:13:27 PM
I have a computer that cannot be upgraded to windows 11, but I need it to have access to files on the NAS storage array.
It used to have access to the folders, but that stopped working about a month ago.
It appears to have started around the time that I updated the BIOS on the NAS Device.
It is a TS3410D Series NAS

when I connect to the storage device though the settings, It shows shows that I have 13 shared folders available to link to.

When I double click on the NAS drive in the NAS NAvigator2 application, it only shows three shares, and they are all "[Offline Share]"

The SMB in the NAS is set up to: Lower = SMB1; Upper = SMB3

SMB 1.0 is fully enabled on the client computer,

On my windows 11 laptop, I have no problem in seeing and reconnecting to any of the shares.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you manually map the shares?

in Windows search type:

\\IP_Of_Terastation

and press enter.

Thanks, That showed that the password for access needed to be reset. If you were around the corner I'd by you a drink :)
