I get the message that the "Buffalo Dashboard does not allow multiple launches.  This application may currently be in use by another user.  Please check running processes for Task Manager."
I can open task manager and see that there are a couple of processes running, but there is no other user involved.

The system is working.  I have replaced two drives.  I do have Windows Defender set up, but it is set to run at a specific time. 

As suggestions?

Not sure if you got this resolved, so assuming you haven't, are you using the default "admin/administrator" account setup or did you create a new one?

The client runs under the default admin user pre-setup by Buffalo, so if you make another user account and login to it the client will still launch based on the per-defined setup account.

It is Windows however, so you can check your user accounts, log out the other one, and change what user the dashboard is launched as.

OR

It could be in the task tray at the bottom right hidden under the overflow, clicking on it there may work if its already launched for the user your on.

Outside of these, I would say contact Buffalo, they have normally helped with TS/WS line of products well past warranty period for me.
