Title: Ls420d rpm
Post by: AntonioAbate on March 27, 2023, 10:33:23 AM
Hello all, recently I got this ls420d with a bad drive. I recovered all data from the other one. The disks are 2 Toshiba 7200 rpm 1 tb each, they were made for computer usage not for nas. My question is: can I use different RPM? I saw on Amazon wd red and Seagate ironwolf are both 5400 rpm. In that case I would swap both disks for two new.

Thank in advance

Once both disks use the same RPM, be it 5400 or 7200 etc it should be fine.
