Title: Terastastion don't permit access to new Active Directory user
Post by: Bxxst on March 29, 2010, 07:38:30 AM

Hi everybody

We have a TeraStation 2 model TS-HTGL/R5 firmware 1.33.

We use it as fileserver

We have the following problem:

- Since a date (we don't know excatly), in folder shared for "domain user", when we create a new user in active directory, TeraStation don't recongnise it and don't let it enter on that folder (it ask me a valid user and password to log on and if i put an "old" credential account i can log on it)

Thx

Diego

I would set the unit to factory defaults and then join AD again. You can do this by going to the web admin for the unit and then going to maintenance, then initialization then restore to factory defaults. This will not delete your data but reset the web admin configuration.

Not sure if this will help.  Disconnect the share and then add the user then remap the drive.
