Print Page - External HD-CEU2 Series - Not recognised by my PC

Title: External HD-CEU2 Series - Not recognised by my PC

Brand new device. 1st time connecting.

Running XP SP3, tried on 2 PCs and neither recognised the ext. HD.

Device shows up at USB location O (???), just cannot "see" it in My Computer.

Shows up on Disk Managament as Disk 1.

Tried 6 USB ports, all the same - no dice.

Tried the firewire fix - uncheck 1394 etc. as per other forums, no luck.

Cannot install firmware as device not recognised.

Please help.
