Title: LS-XHL Media Server problem when renaming files and folders
Post by: XHLNASUSER on March 17, 2010, 05:09:47 PM

My share folder is the folder defined for all media in my NAS XHL firmware 1.10.
Inside the share folders I have several folders with music, movies, photos etc.

If I copy a new media file or folder with media (i.e. mp3 file) and restart the media server I will be able to see the new files (or folder) in my PS3.

However if I rename a folder within the share folder and I restart the media server the folder will not be visible from the PS3 any longer.

I have to delete the folder and copy the information back to the NAS, re-start the media server to see the folder from PS3.

This is important to me because I am continuously organizing my media.
I own a 1TB XHL and new 2TB XHL and the behavior is the same in both (firmware 1.10)

Can anybody try to see if has the same problem and any solution?
