Title: Terastation III won't autonegotiate above 100Mbps
Post by: emcginnis on March 15, 2010, 01:03:50 PM

My terastation III won't autonegotiate link speed abot 100Mbps.  The same switch port works just fine with a 1Gps NIC on my laptop. (same cable, different cable, etc.)

Restarting the storage device doesn't help.   Any ideas on forcing this? There doesn't seem to be an obvious way of setting this through the HTML interface.

Have you disabled port-trunking? IF not, disable it.  Have you disabled jumbo frames? If not, disable jumbo frames (use 1500MTU/frame size only).

Have you tried the OTHER LAN Port? Better results or the same? :) (The TS-III has 2 LAN ports so best to try each one and see if the problem carries over).
