Title: TS-RIGL/R5 DHCP IP Address unable to change to static
Post by: Brookfield on March 11, 2010, 01:13:18 PM

I have a TS-RIGL/R5 unit where it originally had a static IP. After resetting the unit, by holding the red init button, I now have a DHCP address which I am unable to change. Using the iscsi hard disk connection tool I receive an error message: iscsi hard disk might connect to the PC. Unable to change IP address. I am dead in the water unless I can change the IP address. The documentation is not helpful and from what I can see, the only thing I can do is press the init button. Doesn't make sense to me and I cannot believe this product is flawed enough that this is all you can do. So far, can't say i'm impressed with this but could simply be a case of a lack of knowledge on my part with this product.

Take the dhcp ip address, put that in a web browser, login with admin and password.  Then turn off iscsi service and see if you can go to network and set a static by taking it off of dhcp.
