TS-HTGL/R5 F/W:1.33

Hello all,

I'm need help to enabling FTP services.

Under  "Shared Folders" > "Service Setup" > "Network Sharing Services" > "FTP Server" unable to click enable it always disable.

The "System Status" > "System Information" > the "FTP Server Function" show "Disabled".

I already enabled "Shared Folders Support" for FTP under "Shared Folders".

Tested using dos/ftp client such filezilla no ftp services was found on my NAS.

Please help how to enable it.

Thank you.

My guess is that your using the TS in conjunction with your AD domain, this is the case you will not be able to enable FTP at all.

When you join the Terastation to your domain, you apply to delegate all access restrictions done by your domain, but domain users or groups can't be used for FTP at all. Therefore you can't activate the FTP server on the web-gui.
