Title: 5TB RAID5 Array still rebuilding after two weeks - what's going on?
Post by: lrabelfast on October 03, 2022, 03:39:35 AM
Hello, might anyone be able to advise on the following situation-

A failing disk in a TS3400D TeraStation was replaced just 2-3 weeks ago but the array status has not changed from rebuilding on the unit's LCD and within the Buffalo control panel.  Disks are showing up as healthy and array is 93% full.

Thanks.

I thought rebooting/powering off whilst it's rebuilding was a big no-no due to risk of data loss?

Data loss is always a risk unless you have a backup, do you?
