Title: Buffalo Max Torrent Speeds
Post by: bigflause on March 04, 2010, 05:45:21 AM

I would be interested to see peoples max torrent speeds posted. Down and up. I currently can't get it anywhere close to maxing my 20mb connection like utorrent. If I had know that before my purchase i would never have bought one.

Please post model, firmware, max up and down.

Mine is:

LS-CHL 1TB

FW 1.24

Max Down 250k

Max Up 20k

Utorrent

Max Down 2.3mb

Max Up 180k

LS-CHL 1TB

I am getting the same speed like utorrent

(cable connection):

download: 1.2 MB

upload: 200-250 KB

And my opinion is for sure that the client is faster than utorrent in making conections between peers....

My only problems are regarding the features of the torrent client which are not so many like on PC

The client is capable of atleast 7.4meg (60mbit)

it is very capable speed wise

that was over wireless via a wireless bridge that maxes out at around 60mbit

so should be good for more

The speed issue could be the torrents used as well as the lack of Ram on LC-CHL (both versions) ??
