I do not beleive that it support windows 7. I kow that it does not support windows 7 64 bit which you might have because it ships 64 bit by default.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and I get the same message: "Error occured while searching. Device might be in use"

Any ideas? Seems pretty crappy if they don't support windows 7.

Does anybody else have this problem any solutions?

Thanks!

I have checked with Buffalo tech support. This product does not support Windows 7. This is interesting as Buffalo kept selling it after Windows 7 became available.

You will need to find a 32-bit Windows XP to config the DriveStation DUO.
