Title: Permission Issue on Share Sub-Folders even with Access Restrictions disabled
Post by: charless on March 03, 2010, 10:55:26 AM

I'm using a HS-DHTGL/R5 and had access permissions enabled once, but after disabling and removing users I can not get access to the share sub-folders.

I can open the main share folder and view the sub-folder listing but when trying to open those sub-folder I get the permission error event with Access Rrestrictions disabled on that share. I've also tried to use FTP and network mapping using the Admin account with the same error message.

Error Message:

You do not have permissions to access \\TeraStation\MyShare. Contact your network administrator to request access.

It's setup for the general windows "WORKGROUP", but the problem is only on this shared folder and the other work fine after making edits.

Please advise.

Cheers
