Title: Linkstation 220 Web Server possible?
Post by: jknox on September 16, 2022, 03:17:56 PM
I need to set up an old Linkstation 220 as a simple web server (HTTP).  Nothing special.  There are many posts and writeups and videos that purport to show how to do this.  However (and there is ALWAYS a "however," isn't there) - It doesn't match.  The instructions to go to folder shares and select Network and then Web Server would be fine, but there *is* no "Web Server" option.  The articles with pictures show a screen that does NOT look like what I get when I log in as admin on my Linkstation.

So my question is hopefully a simple one.  Is it a Linkstation "model" issue?  Of is my firmware out of date (it says it is current)?  Or is there an application that I need to install?  Thanks...
