Title: Cranky LS-CH500L-v2
Post by: dbubes on February 25, 2010, 06:08:17 PM

I cannot get a "firm" connection with  my LS-CH500L-v2 over my network.  I have it plugged into a 4-port switch, and then into my 5 year old Netgear router.  It has intermittent connectivity even when I plug it directly into the router.

I have reset the LS-CH500L-v2 to no avail.  I have tried flashing the new firmware to replace the version 1.21 it came with but I cannot get a successful flash.  First it has a hard time connecting, then after a few tries finally does connect.  Then it flashes the firmware but doesn't complete the process.  Then I try again and get an error message, "Cannot determine if there is a disc partition" or something llike that.

Anybody?

Are you wireless or hardwired to the router with your computer?  Also how are you trying to connect?
