Title: LS-W2.0TGL continually drops out
Post by: alliancefp on February 23, 2010, 04:46:57 AM

Anyone shed some light on this?

I have a LS-W2.0TGL on RAID to 1tb - home network. Been running perfectly for about 12 months since I bought it.

Last few days its been dropping off randomly whilst in the middle of accessing documents etc - power switch on back is set to 'on' not 'auto' or 'off'.

I now cant find it with the NASNavigator either on ethernet or wireless via router. Nothing in my hardware or network setup has changed at all - im running latest firmware 3.09.

2 PC's to access it are on ethernet. 1 laptop to access wirelessly (via router).

Im unsure if this is a hardware issue as only way I can access the NAS is via \\IP - all my mapped drives continually drop out & never reconnect on logon - ive tried 'remembering password'

Any help would be really appreciated.

Cheers

Nic

Try this with the 3.09 firmware.

The link works fine for me (might be a security issue with your computer).  Try going to the main forum page, selecting storage and selecting FAQ 2 of 3 "Force Update procedure"

There is something wrong with your browser.  You will need to try and clear your cache and history.  Uninstall FireFox and reinstall it if you dont have it then install it.
