Title: [HELP!]SATA1 Error E24

I am a Asian with poor English.and I eager for help.thanks for anyone who would helpme....

2 weeks before, i got a TS-PRO1 without HDD.I insert 1TB*2 + 250GB*2 = 2.5TB.
BAY-1: 1TB
BAY-2: 1TB
BAY-3: 250GB
ABY-4: 250GB
when i flash the firm(1.12),and it hint me to do a complete format.
with this operation,[formatting] ,TS's ORANGE message LED on.
by the manual i should ignore the 240s' warning until it complete.
I wait....when the format bar going to the mid...ERROR LED with beesound.
LED show SATA1 ERROR E24 COMM. FAILURE.

so I exchange the bay of 1 & 4
NOW IT'S
BAY-1: 250GB
BAY-2: 1TB
BAY-3: 250GB
ABY-4: 1TB
at the same step FORMATING BAR rolling to the mid.
RED LED ON with BEESOUND showing:DISK1 SIGNATURE FAIL.

WHAT SHOULD I DO...... I need Help......
ps.please reply my topic with easy word...I am a poor Asia computer boy.....

 It is either the diffrence in the drive sizes or, It sounds like possiblely that channel 1 on the controller might be blown since even after swapping disks drive 1 comes back with the error.
