Title: Very slow start-up

I have a Link Station Live 1.0tb and it works fine with my other pc on the wirded part of the netowrk but it takes up to 15 minutes + to get it to connect / start up with my wireless laptop. in the meantime everything runs slowly and Norton doesn't start.

 

I have no idea what is wrong and any help would be appreciated!

 

The network is connected through a Cisco EPC2425 wireless router.

The laptop is a Dell Vostro 1520 with an intel proset/wireless and runs Norton Internet Security

Hook up the wireless laptop to the wired network, and disable the wireless connection. Does that help?

 

What operating system is running on the problem laptop?
