Title: Unable to access drives
Post by: Subspacedorito on September 02, 2022, 09:40:28 AM
Hello I have four LS210D drives on my network and I am unable to access them via NAS navigator or through the run command. When clicking on the drive icons in NAS navigator nothing happens. When I try to access the drive through the run command I get an error that states "You can't access this shared folder because your organization's security policies block unauthenticated guest access." SMB1 is installed and I have allowed the guest access option in group policy under Lanman workstation. I am out of ideas.

Open the Local Group Policy Editor in your PC. You can press Win+R, type gpedit.msc, and hit the Enter button.

After opening the Local Group Policy Editor, navigate to this path- Computer configuration > Administrative Templates > Network > Lanman Workstation

On your right side, you should see a setting called Enable insecure guest logons. Double-click on it, and change the setting to Not Configured to Enabled and save your change.
