Title: Ministation 500gb malfunction?
Post by: ShiningForce on February 16, 2010, 04:52:34 AM

I am using the Buffalo Ministation 500gb, HD-PF500U2/BK-AP

Window XP SP II

It was working all way fine ...

Yesterday, When I was playing movies inside the harddrive, the movie was hung up, no error msg had popped up

When i restarted my pc, the light on the HD flashed up green, but the window no longer can  detect the HD....

P/S:

Previously, my HD was running properly with my pc . .error ocurred with the same pc .

Nothing to do with the shortage of D/C, i've tried with both wire connected .

And 1 thing, when i connected the HD with my pc, i placed my ear near to the HD, it came out with some little weird sound[for a while]

What should i do to solve this problem??!

Thanks

Regards,

Loo

Does it show up in disk management (right click computer and go to manage, then select disk management)?

Did you take the HD out of the enclosure?  If so what happened?
