Depending on your os, I would recommend if it is a pc to go and right click on computer or my computer and go to manage, then disk management, see if you are able to see the drive as "disk 1" or the name of the buffalo. If you can, see if you can initilize it, change drive letter or path, and see if you can see it under my computer or computer, if not try different usb cables, different usb ports, and if you can another computer.
Thanks for quick reply, It appears in divice manager as Buffalo ext HD but it can not be initialized How can I get it done? I have done all other solutions like connecting to another computer and used different USB ports ect
but did not work.
