Title: How to install old Buffalo Cloudstor 2TB Drive
Post by: ddblack13 on August 07, 2022, 01:46:54 PM
I have an old Buffalo Cloudstor 2 TB Drive (not really sure when I got it but at least 10 years ago) and am trying to figure out how I can install it now on either Windows or Mac for local storage.  All of the old documentation lists installation software that no longer exists or works.  Anyone have any help?  Thanks.

You can install Debian on it:

I think someone somewhere on here wrote up a method for converting a LS-CXL into a LS-WXL by messing with the onboard flash.
