Title: Terastation TS5200 utf-8 not supported
Post by: samuelgb on August 04, 2022, 09:47:11 AM
Hi, I´m trying to syncronize files and folders from a QNAP NAS Server with the FTP Protocol to a Buffalo TS5200D, and on the Buffalo NAS is not possible to chose UTF-8 as a Character Code. I think this is the reason I receive the error message "FTP-Server UTF8 not supported".
What can I doing?

Hello. First sorry for the problem you're having, but syncing too much at once is not a smart approach. Let' (https://tinyfishing.co)s do it one by one

Thank you for your response.

If I try to change the Character Encoding on Management/Language, I can only see CP**** und ISO8859*** but not UTF-8.
I think this is the Problem, how can I install the UTF-8 Charcode? Maybe I installed a false Firmware or something like that?

The only option would be to install Debian on the Terastation.
