Title: Factory rest password issues
Post by: nixonbd965 on February 11, 2010, 08:28:17 PM

Product:  Linkstation LS-QL

Firmware:  1.02

I reset the device to factory defaults, but the default admin password listed in the manual does not work.  The previous admin password I was using does not work.  I can log in as guest, but that doesn't really do me any good.

I tried updating the firmware, but it can not find the linkstation on my network.  Any ideas?

Try doing a force firmware on the ls quad directly connected to the buffalo with your computer having a static ip address set to the same subnet range of the buffalo.
